 This cartoon, titled “Billions Wasted,” has a simple image that reveals a very strong meaning. It is a sign with a “w” and below, the caption “billions wasted.” The W is an analogy to the “M” of McDonalds and it also represents George W. Bush. Ultimately what Sharphack is demonstrating is that while McDonalds is a corporation that generates billions of dollars Bush, during his presidency, misused billions of dollars that were of no good and thrown to the trash. Even though there are many works about Bush, this cartoon stands out thanks to its simplicity that helps it reflect a strong and precise opinion. Sharphack believes that Bush didn´t perform a good job, and with a simple analogy and two words, he criticizes a work done over eight years.
